CELEBRATES 95TH ANNIVERSARY

Mayor Michael Lavorata recently presented the Lindenhurst Fire Department Chemical & Salvage Company No. 2 with a proclamation on the occasion of its 95th Anniversary. Mayor Lavorata said, “The volunteers of the Lindenhurst Fire Department have truly, faithfully, and diligently performed their duties and rendered invaluable service to our Lindenhurst Community. Therefore, as Mayor of the Village of Lindenhurst, with the unanimous support of the Village Board, I designated April 23, 2021 as a day to celebrate and thank the Chemical & Salvage Company No. 2.” Also honored at the occasion was outgoing Captain Michael Vicino for his committed leadership.
