The Lindenhurst Fire Department is continuously accepting applications for membership.

- Retirement benefits - The Lindenhurst Fire Department participates in the NY State LOSAP program. The program is based on your years of service and the capacity of your service. Qualifying members are eligible to receive monthly benefit checks starting at age 65.

Who Can Volunteer:
Any man or woman residing in the Lindenhurst Fire District in reasonable shape who is at least 18 years old and would like to make a difference in their community.

Some of the Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must reside in the Lindenhurst Fire District for a minimum of 1 year prior to applying.
- Must pass department medical physical each year.

We are continously accepting applications for Junior Members.
