The Liberty Hose Company #1 has been serving the Lindenhurst community since 1884. As a volunteer unit of the Lindenhurst Fire Department, the members of this hard-working engine company respond day and night to the emergency calls of the general public. In addition to responding to approximately 500 alarms each year, the company members have also undertaken numerous other community service projects.
